There will be two Tea Parties in the area; therefore, there will not be a Tea Party held in Colorado Springs on the 4th of July.

MONUMENT:  There will be a float entered in the Monument 4th of July Parade.  If you would like to march in the parade, please join us at 9 am.  Families are welcome to ride their bikes, or pull little red wagons; be sure to were comfortable shoes.  If you would prefer watching the parade, find a spot on the sidewalk before the parade starts at 10 am.  Please wear red, white and/or blue and bring your homemade signs.  The theme continues to be “Repeal the Pork, Cut Taxes”.

CASTLE ROCK:  The Tea Party will be held at Festival Park, 100 Wilcox Street from 12 - 2 pm on July 4th.

Hi, my comment isn’t related to the events, but I’m very interested in this group. I’m doing thesis research on political and community values and how they’re formed, and I’m hoping to get the perspective of re-tea party members in Colorado Springs. Please let me know if you’re willing to be interviewed and make your voice heard! You can contact me at Zoe.Wick@ColoradoCollege.edu for further information.

The Monument parade was fantastic. The crowd was very supportive and the signs were great. Wonderful positive attitude from everyone involved. Thanks for doing!
